Modern Science. Nature's Wisdom. Your Health.
Naturopathic medicine is a distinct system of individualized health care that emphasizes prevention, optimal health, and the body's self-healing process — using natural therapies supported by current research.
A Whole-Person Approach to Healing
Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) blend centuries-old knowledge and a philosophy that nature is the most effective healer with current research on health and human systems. The goal is simple: to help you feel better, restore your health, and reach optimal wellness.
Naturopathic medicine considers the fundamental components of health — biochemistry, biomechanics, and emotional predisposition. It accentuates the need to look at the whole person while treating each case with the specific type of care geared toward the individual.
Therapies are supported by research drawn from peer-reviewed journals across many disciplines, including naturopathic medicine, conventional medicine, clinical nutrition, phytotherapy, pharmacognosy, homeopathy, psychology, and spirituality.
Our Philosophy
"When your body begins to work the way nature intended, your spirit soars — and so will you."
— Royal Healing ND

First, Do No Harm
Use the most natural, least invasive, and least toxic therapies available.
The Healing Power of Nature
Trust in the body's inherent wisdom and ability to heal itself when properly supported.
Identify & Treat the Cause
Look beyond symptoms to find and address the underlying causes of illness.
Treat the Whole Person
Consider the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of each patient.
The Practitioner as Teacher
Educate and empower patients to take responsibility for their own health.
Prevention Is the Best Cure
Assess risk factors and support healthy habits to prevent disease before it begins.
What Training Do Naturopathic Doctors Receive?
Licensed naturopathic practitioners (NDs or NMDs) complete a four-year naturopathic medical school and are trained in complementary medicine. They are clinically trained in using natural remedies as well as traditional medicine, though they generally care for patients with a holistic approach combining safe and effective therapies.
Naturopathic medicine includes modern and traditional, scientific, and empirical methods. It focuses on healing the whole person — many health conditions are easily improved through naturopathic philosophies and methods.
