Her research at HUH, under the Division of Geriatrics, focused on interventional and observational clinical trials on Alzheimer's Disease. She has educated, treated and cared for Alzheimer's patients on a daily basis, which increased her confidence in taking responsibility for the health of delicate patients. With this background along with her education she has well over 2000 hours of clinical experience. She possesses significant abilities in the areas of naturopathic care, patient care, pharmaceutical research, protocol preparation and quality assurance.
As a consultant, Dr. Ahaghotu works closely with patients to help explain, educate, reinforce and coach wellness initiatives based on individual goals and tailored self-help plans. Dr. Ahaghotu is a strong believer of Integrative Medicine and is enthusiastic about educating individuals who are seeking alternative methods to improve their health and lifestyle.

Her commitment to the field of healthcare began in her adolescence years, as an Intern at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. She
than received her Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry from Lincoln University and Masters of Science degree in Pharmaceutics from Florida A & M University, College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She pursued her degrees in Chemistry and Pharmaceutics mainly because of her desire to master the basic biological science before moving onto the clinical and functional aspects. Her ultimate objective in studying pharmaceutical sciences was to understand the optimization of drug activity, its maximal therapeutic effect, safety and effectiveness to the patient. Prior to attending SCNM, Dr. Ahaghotu obtained substantial training in Clinical Research from Howard University Hospital (HUH).
